CALICE stands for handmade indie pop music with influences from soul and jazz elements. Their songs are as different as fire and rain.
"Someone", which will be featured on their debut album, feels like a hot summer in Latin America, while their latest single "Poison" starts as a melancholic ballad and evolves into a dramatic rock song. Emily Manera (vocalist) started songwriting with Marius Miebach (guitar) in 2014 and when they met Constantin Recker (keys) in 2019, they started creating band arrangements and in 2021 the band was completed by the talented groove section: Anton Hagen (drums) and Tim Eichentopf (bass). 2022 will be the release year of their upcoming debut album.
